The Youth of Differences Ambassador Programme (YODA) is organized by the Dialogue In The Dark (HK) Foundation, and proudly sponsored by The Robert H. N. Ho Family Foundation Hong Kong. We are here to nurture secondary school students into leaders who champion inclusion and diversity.
Over the programme of 10 months, 43 student ambassadors from 7 schools received training and put their skills into practice by organizing inclusive activities on their campuses, spreading messages of understanding and acceptance. Now, they’re stepping beyond school walls and into the community with an inclusive fun day held at JCCAC.
Activities include interactive booth games, meaningful souvenirs, art-making experiences, and engaging workshops such as audio description, art therapy, and tactile graphics. These showcase the students’ reflections and actions around inclusion, while inviting the community to embrace and appreciate diversity.
